Testing You Can Trust Across Every Product Line
Proven Performance
At Crystal Pacific, our Vista, Vista Plus, Buena Vista, and Valencia product lines undergo rigorous testing to ensure performance, safety, and durability. Each window and door is evaluated according to industry standards for structural integrity, air and water infiltration, forced entry resistance, and thermal performance. Vista and Vista Plus windows meet ENERGY STAR® criteria in select configurations, while Buena Vista doors and Valencia premium windows are tested for enhanced durability and impact resistance. All products are built to comply with applicable California Building Code requirements and are subjected to ongoing quality control inspections to maintain consistent performance across every order.

Testing Parameter Explanations
PG (Performance Grade):
Indicates the overall performance of a window or door, including air, water, and structural resistance. A higher PG means the product can withstand more demanding conditions.DP (Design Pressure):
Measures how much wind pressure a window or door can handle before failing. It’s part of the PG rating and is especially important in areas with high wind or storm exposure.LowE3 / Argon:
A triple-layer Low Emissivity (LowE3) coating on the glass helps reflect heat, while Argon gas between panes increases insulation. Together, they improve energy efficiency and comfort.Double Pane:
Refers to two layers of glass sealed together with a spacer. Double-pane units reduce heat transfer and improve sound insulation compared to single-pane glass.U-Value (Insulation):
Measures how well the window or door insulates against heat flow. Lower values mean better insulation and greater energy savings.SHGC (Solar Heat Gain Coefficient):
Represents how much solar heat passes through the glass. Lower SHGC values help keep interiors cooler in warm climates by blocking more heat.VT (Visible Transmittance):
Indicates how much natural light enters through the glass. Higher VT means more daylight, while lower VT may reduce glare and improve privacy.STC (Sound Transmission Class):
Rates how well a window or door blocks airborne sound (e.g., voices, TV). A higher STC means better interior sound insulation.OITC (Outdoor-Indoor Transmission Class):
Similar to STC but focused on low-frequency outdoor sounds like traffic and airplanes. Higher OITC values provide better noise reduction from exterior sources.
How Do Vista, Vista Plus, Buena Vista, and Valencia Measure Up in Testing?
Compared to the competition, Crystal Pacific’s Vista, Vista Plus, Buena Vista, and Valencia lines deliver performance that stands out in both quality and value. While many competitors rely on baseline testing, Crystal Pacific products undergo enhanced evaluations to meet stricter standards for structural integrity, air and water infiltration, and forced entry resistance. Vista and Vista Plus often outperform similarly priced alternatives in thermal efficiency, with select configurations qualifying for ENERGY STAR® in multiple climate zones. Buena Vista doors and Valencia windows are built with premium hardware and components, offering enhanced durability and smooth operation that rival higher-priced brands. Backed by consistent quality control and full compliance with California Building Code requirements, Crystal Pacific products provide dependable, tested performance that outpaces much of the competition.
