Glass Inspection

Inspection Guidelines For Glass

Unfortunately, glass isn't flawless. Imperfections may exist. When inspecting your Crystal Pacific window and door glass, try looking through it rather than looking at it. If you see something that is a potential blemish, follow these general guidelines.

  • Make sure the glass is completely clean on both sides by using glass cleaner.
  • Stand 10 feet away from the glass and 90 degrees from the surface for a clear view.
  • Inspect the glass in natural daylight avoiding direct sunlight on the surface.
  • If a blemish is visible with a quick, casual glance, measure the size and read the following.

Blemishes

Where you stand, how long you view your glass, and the following parameters will help you determine if a blemish is acceptable. If you believe a blemish is unacceptable, contact your Crystal Pacific authorized dealer or message us.
